Paula Perry-Szyndler

Paula has an Associate of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance. Paula has been teaching for thirty eight 

years. She enjoys teaching master classes, choreographing and judging for many studios and competitions in the United

States. Her choreography has been seen on many television benefit specials, faculty shows at national dance competitions,

Miss Massachusetts, Miss Rhode Island, and Little Miss Pageants. Several of Paula's dance students have gone on to on to perform in NYC, dancers in Contemporary Dance Companies, perform as a NFL Cheerleader, Disney dancer, Celtics dancer, Wizard of Oz, The Nutcracker, 42nd Street, danced with Gregory Hines and have been accepted into the Alvin Ailey Company. While others have received their degree in dance and now are either performing or teaching at many studios in the New England Area.


Meghan Kennedy

Meghan has been teaching for twenty two years. Meghan has received several honor awards for her dance works. Meghan's work this past season received best choreography, United We Dance and most entertaining at the regional and nation competition level. She has won several title awards for her performance in Dance as well as in Gymnastics. In the summer of 2000 one of her dance teams performed in Canada at an International Dance Competition. This team won the highest honors with a perfect score and Meghan also won the choreography award. She has performed with Christina Aguilera, performed at Walt Disney World, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, HersheyPark and is a featured dancer for the Soul City All Stars. Meghan was the recipient of the Danny/Betty Hoctor excellence in Dance award. This award is a lifetime achievement award. Meghan was a professional cheerleader for the NFL for four years and has won several honors which include most talented professional cheerleader.



Jazzmine Szyndler

Jazzmine Szyndler has been training for 24 years with a strong focus on technique. After attending Dean College for two years she moved to New York City to further her education and training. Miss Jazzmine graduated from two professional programs at the world renowned Broadway Dance Center, and since graduating in 2015 she has since danced for artists such as Paula Abdul, Aretha Franklin, Good Morning America with Dancing With the Stars, Ru Paul's Drag Race winners Bianca Del Rio and Shangela, L'oreal Paris, The Research Foundation to Cure Aids. In 2016 Miss Jazzmine was the principle dancer in the premiere of the new Contemporary Ballet Company "The Orsano Project" where the company was named Season 2 winners of New York's Got Talent.This year she had the honor of dancing at the Capezio Ace Awards in New York City, and was later asked to perform for Brian Friedman's The Main Event.  Miss Jazzmine's work has lead her to win many choreography awards as well as "choreographer of the year" her work has also received the highest honor of top score the entire dance competition. This year Miss Jazzmine's work can now be seen on The Broadway Dance Centers Professional Semester students, you can also catch Miss Jazzmine as a Co-Director of New York Cities Junior Professional Training Program "Koin&Co". 


Susan Szyndler

Susan Szyndler has been dancing for 19 years and started her professional career at the age of 10.  Susan graduated Dean College in 2015.  While at Dean College she was a member of the Women Step Team, Dean College performance company as well as the Dean College Dance Company.  She
has won several title awards for her performance in dance and many choreography awards as an educator.  Miss Susan has toured as a company dancer with Dance Theatre USA.  She has performed for Paula Abdul, at Walt Disney World, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and Hershey Park. 
Susan was featured in the instructional hip hop video for The Boyz. She has recently just moved back home from living and training in the professional division at Broadway Dance Center in New York City. Susan has received a plethora of information this past semester having studied both the
academic aspect of dance knowledge and the physical forms of dance. She has been blessed to work with many amazing dance idols and has so much she wishes to share with all of you.


Lexie Sahagian

Lexie Sahagian is originally from Long Island, NY, where she grew up training in various styles of dance.  After competing

for many years, Lexie began teaching. She has taught at multiple studios as well as coached many high school and college

dance teams. After graduating, she was accepted onto AbstraKT Beings: The Company directed by Theresa Stone. Within the

last few years, Lexie came to NYC to continue her training. She completed the Professional Semester at Broadway Dance Center, where she trained from, worked with and/or assisted many well known choreographers such as Theresa Stone, Neil Schwartz, Luam, Keenan Cooks, David Thomas etc. Credits include America's Got Talent, "Z" ft. Fetty Wap Music Video, Good Morning America, Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, Pushing Progress, Carnival, Run the Night, etc. Lexie looks forward to continuing to grow and learn while sharing everything she has learned along the way!


Ali Koinoglou

Originally from Long Island, NY Ali is now thriving in New York City. Training since the young age of two, Ali found her love for dance early on. Training at prestigious school such as Joffrey Ballet’s pre-professional year-round program & the Professional Semester at Broadway Dance Center, Ali has studied with some of the most prestigious teachers around the world. After studying at BDC, Ali was asked to work in BDC’s educational department under Bonnie Erickson. Ali continues to personally assist Bonnie, as well as master teacher & choreographer, Derek Mitchell; Resident Choreographer of Hamilton the Musical. Continuing on her path of dancing & assisting, Ali found time to cultivate her passion for choreography and founded the company, Koin & Co Dancers. After the continued success of the professional company, Ali embarked on a mission to educate the next generation of
dancers to be professional, prepared & polite humans for their future in the industry, and created a Junior Training Program as a part of her company.
Currently, Ali is assistant to five-time Emmy award winning Mia Michaels & is a resident choreographer/teacher for many studios/intensives around the country including three time national champions The Academy of the Holy Angels, KLICK’T, and more. Ali is a guest teacher at Peridance Capezio Center, and is also a judge for competitions/conventions such as Artistic Dance Exchange. Ali’s long-term goal is to be one day be educating & inspiring
dancers around the world to grow to their full potential as talented dancers, kind humans & all- around creative, versatile individuals!


Emily Alves

Emily started her training at the early age of three, exploring through many local studios and competing by the age of seven.

Emily began choreographing and winning her first choreography award at fifteen. From then on she proceeded to work as a

Hip-Hop teacher/ choreographer in Rhode Island and New Bedford studios along with directing dance for Middletown High

School’s Drama productions and events. In 2013, Emily was chosen as an alternate for the USA Dance Team as well as receiving a full scholarship through Monsters of Hip-Hop to train in Los Angeles. With a passion for performance, she later became featured dancing in music videos and independent short films for artists such as Caliph, Doc Z, and Kevin Q, as well as being chosen as a performer for a New York benefit show for Orlando victims in 2016. Miss Emily is currently training in the Intellidance Method Theory and very excited to be the first certified intellidance teacher in New England, and so excited to bring this teaching method to the young dancers of The DCD. Emily was accepted into Boston Dance Works’ season 15 program and finished with a desire for a teaching position again. This led Miss Emily to joining the staff of The Dancer’s Edge/ I’ve Got Rhythm where she will continue to teach, dance, and inspire.
